Our Approach
Dr. J. M. Teeler is a native of Fort Worth, Texas. He was born on October 4. Dr. J. M. Teeler has been in the Gospel Ministry for Eighteen (18) years, having accepted his call to preach in 2001. He was licensed to preach this Glorious Gospel on July 7, 2001 at New Cliff Baptist Church in Dallas, Texas. Pastor T.L. Brown, Rev. R.L. Rogers, Rev. McKinley Jackson, Sr. and Pastor Kevin Powell all served on the Committee. In 2003, Pastor T.L. Brown ordained Reverend Teeler in the Gospel Ministry.
- Rev. Teeler is the Founder and C.E.O. of Eyecrafters Optical stores in Fort Worth and Hurst, Texas and has successfully been in the optical business since 2001 with National Award Winning Accolades and Best Customer service awards.
- His philanthropic gestures of kindness extend to the community abroad and the Fort Worth Police Academy and New recruits.
- He is the Founder and C.E.O of J.M.T. Texas Properties, Inc. Fort Worth, Texas. Dr. Teeler is the President and Chief Operating Officer of this thriving Corporation which owns and oversees multiple properties since 2009.
- Education – Fort Worth ISD and in 2015 received his Doctorate of Christian Education from Kingdom Theological Seminary in Mississippi.

Reverend Teeler has preached for Legendary World Renown Pastors such as Past President Rev. Stephen Thurston and the Iconic Rev. Leroy Elliot.
On September 18, 2019, was called to be the Pastor of Harvey Avenue Baptist Church in Fort Worth, Texas. As a strong visionary leader, he is looking forward to building upon the great ministry foundation of Harvey Avenue and transforming lives through the discipleship of Jesus Christ. He is using his visionary, communication, administrative and Spiritual gifts to further enhance the Kingdom of God by serving this local assembly to take this ministry to another altitude in Christ. He is a pastor who leads and shepherds the body of Christ effectively with great compassion. He teaches and preaches the content of the bible without compromise and with integrity. He is an under shepherd who will seek the lost and evangelize the community to actively engage in the total edification of mankind.
Reverend Teeler is the devoted husband to Mrs. Brenda Teeler. They have been happily married for the past 21 years.
