CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
2 Timothy 2:15 states "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
Join us at Sunday School at 9:30 AM or at our Bible Study setting on Wednesdays from 6PM to 7PM.
For all age groups that will meet their needs, teaching them about scriptural truths, enabling them to grow spiritually to fulfill “The Great Commission” mandate for evangelism, discipleship, fellowship, worship and ministry.
DEACON'S MINISTRY Acts 6: 3-4
Our Deacon Ministry mission is to serve as the Pastor’s Armor Bearers and his “extended arms” to meet the needs of the congregation and community. As the Pastor is God’s appointed leader of the church, our Deacons are God’s appointed servants of the church to help resolve any murmuring and grumbling, look after the widows and less fortunate and relieve the Pastor so he can give his attention to prayer and ministry.

BROTHERHOOD MINISTRY
The Brotherhood Ministry meets every 2nd Monday in the month at 6PM.
This ministry is to help men recognize the leadership role God has called them to perform in their life, home, family and community. To help men seek, discover and understand the roles God has established in the Holy Bible for them.

PASTOR'S AIDE MINISTRY
To assist with the needs of the Pastor’s office and pulpit with items needed to for preaching (handkerchiefs, water, mints, etc.) on every 1st Sunday.

DEACONESS MINISTRY
This Ministry is comprised of the wives of the Deacons and previous Deaconesses. You must be a wife of a Deacon to be a part of this Ministry. This ministry prepares the communion and assist with baptizing.
CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
We are committed to reaching and sharing with children the Gospel of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. HABC Children’s Ministry is active in serving children by sharing God’s love and showing support through positive activities such as biblical teaching, praise and worship, musicals, skits, fun activities and hands on community outreach projects.

GREETERS MINISTRY 1 Corinthians 16:20
As Greeters our purpose is to glorify God through extending a cheerful and encouraging welcome. Help those who approach our doors feel welcome and secure in the choice they made of coming to our church. To give directions and to help bring about the beginning of a pleasant, enjoyable worship experience.
As Greeters, we are called to a ministry of love. Shaking a hand and giving smiles and hugs with a kind word indicate you are welcome.
As Greeters, we minister alongside the Ushers. We are the first to be seen by church attendees. We want to make everyone glad they came to Harvey to worship our Lord.
The Greeters serve before Sunday Morning Worship Service.

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY & CULINARY ARTS MINISTRY
Renders service to Harvey Avenue’s members, visitors and guest by preparing meals and catering to the following events: Revivals, Special occasions, Funerals, Homecoming Celebration. This Ministry utilizes dedicated, committed workers who can cook, clean, serve and plan menus.
FOOD PANTRY MINISTRY
Provides a food pantry that distributes food in partnership with the Tarrant County Food Bank. This ministry feeds the hungry in our church and community by providing food boxes to needy families.
All Volunteers must attend assigned orientation class before participating.
WORLD PROJECT VISION HOME (HARVEY OUTREACH MINISTRY EVANGELIZING)
Partner with World Vision to distribute items to help the less fortunate in our church and community with household items, food items, diapers, etc.

- Light of the World Christmas Give Away – 3rd Saturday in December

USHER MINISTRY Psalm 84:10
Ushering is the art of making members and visitors feel comfortable and offering the love of Christ as all enters to worship. Ushers welcome with a pleasant smile, aid in seating and make sure everyone is comfortable.

Visits the sick and shut ins, hospital visits, bereavement visits. Make calls and send cards.

MULTIMEDIA MINISTRY
Responsible for all audio and visual technology needs of HABC. This ministry is also responsible for setting up all events with audio and visual needs.
MUSIC MINISTRY
This ministry is made up of singers, musicians, directors called to lift their talents in praise and worship to God. This ministry facilitates worship through music that glorifies God and edifies the people of God.
